Sound the Alarm! Bennett’s firefighter birthday party
Bennett turned three in the fall and we had a firefighter birthday party for him! I knew exactly what I wanted for invitations and party printables, I wasn’t sure where to start with food and dessert, so I drew a lot of inspiration from Jenny. It was so much fun! It’s hard to get good pictures when you’re hosting the party, but I did get a few. You can see the party printables available in the shop here: http://etsy.me/Y3cEtc
We served chili and we had a fire so that everyone could roast their own hot dogs. We had fire hydrant pops, cherry sours, hot tamales, cupcakes and a cake as sweet treats and gave everyone a pack of red vines on their way out the door.
As usual, we had Maria make the cupcakes. THey’re always the hit of our kids’ birthday parties! I added candy fire hats and gum balls to the top. I also made a cake . . . a lopsided cake. Let’s not talk about that . . .
